AI TRI+ (hereinafter referred to as "the Service") hereby establishes this Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as "this Policy") regarding the handling of Users' personal information in connection with the services provided on this website (hereinafter referred to as "the Services").
Article 1 (Personal Information)
"Personal information" refers to "personal information" as defined in the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, meaning information about a living individual that can identify a specific individual through the name, date of birth, address, telephone number, contact information, or other descriptions contained in the information, as well as data relating to appearance, fingerprints, voiceprints, and information that can identify a specific individual from the information alone, such as health insurance card insurer numbers (personal identification information).
Article 2 (Methods of Collecting Personal Information)
The Service may ask Users for personal information such as name, date of birth, address, telephone number, email address, bank account number, credit card number, and driver's license number when registering for use. The Service may also collect transaction records and payment-related information containing Users' personal information that have been made between Users and our partners (including information providers, advertisers, advertising distributors, etc.; hereinafter referred to as "Partners").
The Service uses Auth0 for authentication. When using social login through Auth0 (Google, GitHub, etc.), information provided by each service provider (email address, name, profile image, etc.) may be collected. This information is used for user authentication and identity verification of the Service.
Article 3 (Purposes of Collecting and Using Personal Information)
The purposes for which the Service collects and uses personal information are as follows.
- To provide and operate the Service
- To respond to inquiries from Users (including identity verification)
- To send emails regarding new features, updates, campaigns, and other services offered by the Service
- To request cooperation with surveys and interviews aimed at improving the service and developing new features
- To contact Users as necessary for maintenance, important notices, etc.

- To integrate training plans created by Users with external calendar services in iCal format

Article 4 (Changes to Purposes of Use)
- The Service shall change the purposes of use of personal information only when it is reasonably recognized that the changed purpose is related to the original purpose.
- When the purposes of use are changed, the changed purposes shall be notified to Users or published on this website through the method prescribed by the Service.
Article 5 (Disclosure of Personal Information to Third Parties)
- The Service shall not provide personal information to third parties without prior consent of the User, except in the following cases. However, this excludes cases permitted by the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other laws.
- When necessary for the protection of life, body, or property and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the person
- When particularly necessary for improving public health or promoting the sound development of children and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the person
- When it is necessary to cooperate with a national institution, local government, or entity entrusted by them in performing duties prescribed by law, and obtaining consent may impede the performance of such duties
- When the following matters have been announced or made public in advance and the Service has filed a notification with the Personal Information Protection Commission
- The purpose of use includes provision to third parties
- The items of data provided to third parties
- The means or method of provision to third parties
- Cessation of provision of personal information to third parties upon request of the person
- The method of accepting requests from the person
- Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, the recipient of information shall not be considered a third party in the following cases.
- When the Service entrusts all or part of the handling of personal information to the extent necessary to achieve the purpose of use
- When personal information is provided as a result of business succession due to merger or other reasons
- When personal information is jointly used with specific persons, and the fact of joint use, the items of personal information jointly used, the scope of joint users, the purpose of use, and the name of the person responsible for managing the personal information have been notified to the person in advance or made readily available to the person
- The Service entrusts user authentication information to Auth0 Inc. (United States) for the purpose of providing authentication functions. Auth0 is used solely for user authentication of the Service and is managed appropriately in accordance with Auth0's Privacy Policy (https://auth0.com/privacy).
- The Service provides payment-related information to Stripe, Inc. (United States) for the purpose of processing payments for paid services. The Service does not retain Users' credit card information. All payment information is processed securely in accordance with Stripe's Privacy Policy (https://stripe.com/jp/privacy).
Article 6 (Disclosure of Personal Information)
- When requested by an individual to disclose their personal information, the Service shall disclose it to the individual without delay. However, if disclosure would fall under any of the following categories, all or part of the information may not be disclosed, and if a decision is made not to disclose, the individual shall be notified without delay. A fee of 1,000 yen per request shall be charged for disclosure of personal information.
- When there is a risk of harming the life, body, property, or other rights and interests of the individual or third parties
- When there is a risk of significantly impeding the proper conduct of the Service's business
- When it would violate other laws and regulations
- Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, information other than personal information, such as usage history and characteristic information, shall not be disclosed as a general rule.
Article 7 (Correction and Deletion of Personal Information)
- If a User's personal information held by the Service is incorrect, the User may request correction, addition, or deletion (hereinafter referred to as "Correction, etc.") of personal information through the procedures prescribed by the Service.
- When the Service receives a request under the preceding paragraph and determines that it is necessary to respond to the request, the Service shall correct the personal information without delay.
- The Service shall notify the User without delay when a correction has been made pursuant to the preceding paragraph, or when a decision has been made not to make a correction.
Article 8 (Suspension of Use of Personal Information)
- When an individual requests suspension or deletion of use (hereinafter referred to as "Suspension of Use, etc.") of personal information on the grounds that the information is being handled beyond the scope of the purpose of use or was obtained by improper means, the Service shall conduct the necessary investigation without delay.
- Based on the results of the investigation under the preceding paragraph, if it is determined that it is necessary to respond to the request, the Service shall suspend use of the personal information without delay.
- The Service shall notify the User without delay when suspension of use has been implemented pursuant to the preceding paragraph, or when a decision has been made not to suspend use.
- Notwithstanding the preceding two paragraphs, when suspension of use would require significant costs or is otherwise difficult, and alternative measures can be taken to protect the rights and interests of the User, such alternative measures shall be implemented.
Article 9 (Changes to Privacy Policy)
- The content of this Policy may be changed without notification to Users, except for matters separately provided for in laws or this Policy.
- Unless otherwise specified by the Service, the revised Privacy Policy shall take effect from the time it is posted on this website.

Article 11 (Handling of Personal Information in AI Features)
The Service uses the following external AI services to provide AI features such as triathlon performance analysis and training plan suggestions.
- Google Gemini API: Triathlon performance data, age, gender, goals, and other information entered by Users is sent to the Gemini API of Google LLC (United States) to generate individual performance analysis and training suggestions.
- Groq API: Similarly, the API service of Groq Inc. (United States) may be used for analysis based on Users' triathlon data.
- XAI API: Similarly, the API service of XAI Corp. (United States) may be used for analysis based on Users' triathlon data.
Important notes regarding the use of these AI features:
- Information transmitted is limited to the scope necessary for AI analysis and does not include directly identifiable personal information such as names or contact details
- Each AI service provider processes information in accordance with their respective privacy policies
- Use of AI features is optional; no information is transmitted to external AI services if these features are not used
- Transmitted data is used solely for analysis processing; use of data by AI service providers for training or improvement purposes is subject to each provider's policies
